The Florence Family Worship Center is a part of the Church
of God, Cleveland, Tennessee. The Church of God is the
oldest continuing Pentecostal Denomination in the world
today. As such the Florence Family Worship Center has
a deep heritage of faith that goes back more than 115
years. Through this website, we hope to introduce our
local congregation as well as our denomination.
Our local congregation was established in 1971, since
that time we have continued to be a part of the Florence
Community. We began in an old firehouse on Hopeful Road,
and since then have been engaged in several building projects.
Our most recent renovation was the new sanctuary built
in 1996. We have just recently added new audio and video
equipment to help with the production of online material
soon to come.
Our church family
is committed to the Worship of God (see John 4:23), the
Truth of His Word (see John 17:17), and to the Serving
of our neighbors (see Luke 10:30-36).
It is the sincere
prayer of the Pastor, Staff, and Congregation that you
will be encouraged to make Jesus Christ your personal
Lord and Savior, and that if you are looking for a church
